The Los Angeles Equestrian Center is home to multiple professional location shoots every year. Our clients have included nearly every major film and television studio. We are centrally located in the Burbank/Los Angeles area and in close proximity to Disney, ABC, Warner Brothers, NBC and Universal Studios.
Our 75-acre property is home to over 200 horse boarders and trainers. Every weekend we welcome ongoing horse shows, weddings, banquets, conferences & fundraisers, and company picnics. Weekdays offer the ideal opportunity for location shoots to utilize interiors and exteriors and many aspects of our versatile facility and setting. We also feature multiple parking lots for shoots, base camps and parking.
Just need parking for a base camp or crew? Or audience parking shuttle stop? We accommodate those as well. Our location fees are comparable and reasonable, and our services are well regarded in the film and television industry. Parking Lots
A 30,000 square foot Parking Lot, ideal for a large Base camp, StarWagons, and craft services. Lots can be staged to look like a Flea or Farmer’s Market.
Front of Our Main Office Building
This can be used as an exterior for an office building. One production company set dressed it as a Motel Entrance.
Cricket Field
5 acre manicured lawn. Large enough for the following types of shoot settings: Polo Field, Football Field, Outdoor Wedding Ceremony, Carnival Fair Ground, Picnic Playground.
Hunt Field
2 acre manicured lawn with lots of sycamore trees. Perfect for Outdoor Banquet, Farmland, Picnic Playground.
The Little White House
Situated on Hunt Field, it’s extremely versatile for both interiors and exteriors: Mountain Cabin, Farmhouse, Cabin Living Room, Patio Private Party, Wedding Ceremony.
Equestrian Ballroom with Garden Terrace
Indoor Wedding Reception, Seminar Meeting Setting, Indoor Trade Show, Garden Wedding, Garden Soiree.
Grand Prix Room and Garden Terrace
Garden Ceremony, Wedding Reception, Cocktail Party, Conference, Casino, Backyard Garden Party.
Polo Room
Banquet Reception, Company Party
Equidome Equestrian Arena
Dirt ring oval is 46,000 square feet with permanent seating for 3500. Equestrian Competition, Farm or Western Trade show, Large Conference or Concert.
Other Equestrian Arenas
Large Oval and Small Oval, among other arenas.
Kitchens
Commercial Kitchen and Culinary Kitchen for scenes involving restaurant and culinary school film settings.
Barns
Many different barns, including Show Barns. Near one set of barns is a structure that could serve as a Feed or General Store exterior. Also near the barns is the Horse Show Office Trailer that could be used as an exterior setting for home trailer or trailer store front.
Rein Café
Serves our weekend Horse shows. Can be used for a Café or Concession exterior, and its Patio can serve as an outdoor café.
Derby Room
2200 square feet blank canvas to imagine it as you want – retail store, school classroom, church social gathering space, exercise room…The exterior could be used as a Store Front.
This room is often used as an ideal place for background holding.
The Barn Saloon
The Barn is a VIP room featuring a wine bar and a phenomenal patio area. It can accommodate up to 100 patrons and gives exceptional views of one of the main show ring.
